Eminem's only UK festival show this year looks set to be a soggy affair with heavy rain forecast for the T in the Park bash at Balado in Scotland this weekend.Up to 85,000 festivalgoers a day are expected at the three day, sold-out event, which sees Muse headline on Friday, July 9. Eminem, currently topping the UK charts with latest album 'Recovery,' then headlines on Saturday, July 10, with Kasabian wrapping up the festivities on Sunday, July 11.
Weather forecasters The Met Office say that heavy showers are due today which will become heavier on Saturday. Sunday looks a bit brighter though, with sunny outbreaks predicted along with the odd outbreak of rain.
However, the BBC reports that event organiser Geoff Ellis was confident that the landowner had improved ground drainage enough to cope with any inclement weather, after downpours three years ago turned the site into a quagmire, and car parks were closed on the first day, leaving the plans of many travelling to the festival in chaos.
Other acts appearing at T in the Park over the weekend include Jay-Z, Prodigy, Black Eyed Peas, Yeasayer, Gossip, Calvin Harris, Empire of the Sun, Florence and the Machine, Mumford and Sons, Julian Casablancas, Goldfrapp and Madness.
