Kaskade, 'Dynasty' and Exclusive Behind the Scenes -- Video Premiere

Things have been going well for Kaskade as of late. In fact, things have never been better. In April, the DJ/producer killed it in the Sahara Tent at Coachella, then watched as his debut album, 'Dynasty,' landed at No. 5 on the iTunes Overall Album chart, straight out of the gate. This summer, he gets to sit poolside at the magnificent Wynn in Las Vegas as he hosts a weekly party at the luxurious Encore Beach Club.

As for his new single, the title track from 'Dynasty,' Kaskade tells Spinner he wrote it in a flash of inspiration after playing the Electric Daisy Carnival last year. "To date, that was one of the largest audiences that I had ever played in front of," he says. "While standing onstage in front of 80,000 people, I realized that this is a dynasty. This is our Woodstock; this generation's music and cultural moment."

But every defining moment requires an image as well as a soundtrack. Likewise, Kaskade reveals that he liked filming the video for 'Dynasty' because, he says, "I was able to wear a powder blue tuxedo and drive a woody station wagon." Fair enough.
