Three men have been charged over the attacks at this weekend's T in the Park festival in Scotland. Two men were left with serious abdominal injuries on Sunday, June 11, at the festival, reports the BBC. The men, both in the 20s, were injured on a walkway between the campsite and main arena. They were taken to hospital after being treated on the scene.
The three men who have been charged are all in their 20s and are set to appear at the Perth Sheriff Court.
As previously reported by Spinner, the Tayside police force had encouraged campers who may have had captured the incident on their mobile phone to come forward with their evidence.
Detective Inspector Steve Bisset said, "It's possible some campers may have captured vital images of the incident on cameras or mobile phones, and a number of others will have witnessed the assault. I would urge anyone who witnessed these incidents take place, or anyone who may have photographs or footage of the incident, to get in touch with us."
This year's T in the Park festival saw performances from the likes of Muse, Eminem and Kasabian, with local favourites Biffy Clyro playing their record-breaking ninth show at the festival.
