Lost in the Trees, 'Walk Around the Lake' -- Song Premiere

Lost in the Trees Fusing classical music with indie-folk may not be a unique concept in today's musical landscape, but few artists share the classical chops of Lost in the Trees bandleader Ari Picker. The North Carolina composer, who has already written and publicly debuted a complete orchestral symphony, put together a collective of talented musicians to realize his sonic vision.

On 'Walk Around the Lake,' from Lost in the Trees' forthcoming debut album 'All Alone in an Empty House,' Picker showcases his passionate vocals and talent for lush, dramatic string arrangements. Despite the bombastic percussion and cinematic energy, the song still maintains a campfire folk feel, buoyed by his acoustic guitar picking.
