Aerosmith's Joe Perry Hospitalized After Motorcycle Crash

Aerosmith's North American tour was in jeopardy once again on Thursday after guitarist Joe Perry was hospitalized following a motorcycle accident in the band's home state of Massachusetts. According to the Boston Globe, Perry was treated and released from Morton Hospital and Medical Center in Taunton following the crash.The accident reportedly occurred in Middleborough, shortly after 2PM on Thursday. Although it was unclear if the musician was driving or stopped in traffic when he was struck, police say Perry was hit from behind by a sedan on Route 44 near the intersection of Route 105.
Despite yesterday's scare, Aerosmith is still apparently set to embark on its "Cocked, Locked, Ready to Rock" US summer tour, which starts Friday, July 23 at the Oracle Arena in Oakland. A year after infighting, injuries and frontman Steven Tyler's trip to rehab threatened to sideline one of America's biggest bands, the group is back in the saddle and set to play 18 US gigs during a trek that wraps at Connecticut's Mohegan Sun Arena on Sept. 4.

Wow! Thank God Joe is ok. Last year it was Steven now this. The greatest band ever.I'm going to see them Aug.28 in AC. Prayers go out to Joe, and the rest of the band.

motorcyles are fun to ride but are death traps.I know a mother who son was killed on one and 13 years later her last child was killed rding one..he was grown and married but he didn't tell his mom he even had one..then her husband ran off with a younger women
