The Scottish indie heroes kick off the jaunt in Gateshead on Dec. 5 before finishing up with a homecoming show at the Glasgow Barrowland Ballroom on Dec. 21.
There's also dates in Birmingham, Manchester and Leicester as the band look to build on the momentum from headlining Latitude Festival on July 18. B&S are also scheduled to curate an All Tomorrow's Parties event at Minehead on December 10-12 -- a sequel of sorts to the 1999 Bowlie Weekender, which they also curated.
The outfit is also due to embark on a set of dates across America, Canada and Mexico, as previously reported by Spinner, in September and October. Belle and Sebastian recently posted on their official website that they had almost finished their eighth studio album and it's hoped that new tracks will see the light of day on their live dates.
The band's UK winter tour meanwhile is as follows:
Gateshead Sage (December 5)
Birmingham Symphony Hall (December 6)
Manchester Apollo (December 7)
Bournemouth Academy (December 9)
Leicester De Montfort Hall (December 14)
Bristol Colston Hall (December 16)
Glasgow Barrowland Ballroom (December 21)
