Exclusive Q&A With Singer Martin Courtney:
What's your favorite album right now?
Over the past few months, I've probably listened to Television, 'Adventure' the most.
Tell us about the first concert you ever saw.
I saw Weezer at [New York City's] Irving Plaza with [guitarist] Matt [Mondanile] and [bassist] Alex [Bleeker] from Real Estate when we were like, 15. Julian Lynch was with us, too, and our friend Andrew Russeth. Matt's dad drove us in to Manhattan and we ate at the Carnegie Deli beforehand. Julian got really sick at the show from eating too much pastrami or something.
What's your biggest vice?
If you could own actual real estate in any country, where would it be? Why?
USA, baby. Because at least I know I'm free.
What's your favorite thing about New Jersey?
Evan Brody's swimming pool.
