Badly Drawn Boy Reveals UK Tour Dates

Damon Gough is to take his shambling, acoustic raconteur shtick on tour once more, Gigwise reports. The Bolton-bred singer-songwriter -- better known by his Badly Drawn Boy moniker -- has plotted a seven-date jaunt around some of the UK's more off-the-beaten-track venues in support of his upcoming album 'It's What I'm Thinking Pt.1 -- Photographing Snowflakes.'

The trek will kick off at Scarborough's picturesque Spa Theatre on Oct. 16 and will call in at Holmfirth's Picturedrome cinema and bar, Birmingham's Town Hall and more. Gough will be showcasing tunes from his incongruously named seventh effort -- due out on Oct. 4 -- including lead single 'Too Many Miracles,' which is released a week earlier.

'It's What I'm Thinking...' follows up Badly Drawn Boy's 2009 release 'Is There Nothing We Could Do?' -- a soundtrack album to the Timothy Spall-starring TV movie 'The Fattest Man in Britain.'
