Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings Announce Fall Tour

After spending July touring Europe, Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings are planning to keep their travel momentum going with a string of US shows this fall.

The soul band will kick things off with a few festivals, including this weekend's Gathering of the Vibes in Bridgeport, Ct., and the Newport Folk Festival, which NPR will stream live. Jones and the Dap-Kings will also play a free show at Brooklyn's Prospect Park on Aug. 7 as well as a gig at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Aug. 13.

The tour will continue into September where they'll play the Jazz Aspen Snomass Festival in Colorado. Their last fall date will take place on Sept. 28. in Denver where the band will share the stage with Grace Potter and the Nocturnals.
