The Canadians are riding high on the success of their album 'The Suburbs' and they are set to hit the UK in December as part of a nationwide arena tour.
The five-date tour kicks off at the 02 Arena in London on Dec. 1 before wrapping up at Glasgow's SECC on Dec. 12.
As previously reported by Spinner, Arcade Fire recently closed the this year's Lollapalooza festival in Chicago -- and they're also booked to headline the Reading and Leeds festivals in the UK over the dates of Aug. 27 and Aug. 28.
They also recently were subject of a live webcast on YouTube of their show at New York's Madison Square Garden -- directed by Terry Gilliam -- confirming their place as one of the world's most in-demand bands.
Meanwhile, their full UK winter tour is as follows:
London O2 Arena (Dec. 1)
Birmingham LG Arena (Dec. 8)
Cardiff Arena (Dec. 9)
Manchester Central (Dec. 11)
Glasgow SECC (Dec. 12)
