Slash, 'Back From Cali' -- Video Premiere

Reading the lyrics for Slash's 'Back From Cali,' the latest single from his self-titled solo album, might give some the sense that the guitarist is yearning to return home. But the video for the track makes one thing clear: Slash is just as much of a road dog as ever.

'Back From Cali' features lyrics written by Alter Bridge's Myles Kennedy, who also became the frontman for Slash's touring band. The group has been performing in Europe and Asia all summer, mixing in new songs with old favorites from Slash's Snakepit, Velvet Revolver and, of course, Guns N' Roses. As the footage, which was shot all across Europe by director Daniel E Catullo III shows, the gigs are intense, sweaty and full of roaring solos -- just like a Slash show should be.

As Slash told Spinner in May, "The guys in the band are all phenomenal; I'm lucky to have been able to find them. Myles is phenomenal and sings everything from this record to Guns N' Roses albums to Velvet Revolver and Snakepit stuff as well, so that's really cool." I am so excited that Vancouver BC is on Slash's tour schedule Sept 30/10. What I cannot understand is why he is booked in such a small club (The Commodore). It is so hard to get tickets when the venue is as miniscule as this one. We have other great sites in Vancouver which I am sure Slash would fill.

Are you all kidding...? The only half decent thing here is Myles. The music is lame, the video really sucks. I thought VR was the low point for Slash. Slash... you should be ashamed.

This song is awesome as the whole album, slash is a genius, I just LOVE him!! besides he is so nice to his fans that he shares everything he does with us so we can feel him closer!!!!!!!!!
