Bon Iver frontman Vernon -- who famously spent three months in a remote Wisconsin cabin recording debut album 'For Emma, Forever Ago' -- was apparently flown out to meet the rap megastar, who, to the best of Spinner's knowledge, has never spent any time in a remote Wisconsin cabin. Rather than the rural Midwest, the pair worked on music at West's Hawaii studio, with the fruits of the unlikely duo's labour possibly set to appear on the rapper's upcoming fifth album.
The follow up to 2008's '808s and Heartbreak' is due to hit stores in mid-November and currently has the tentative title of 'Dark Twisted Fantasy' (for a while it was known as 'Good Ass Job'). West has previously named Trent Reznor and Thom Yorke as musical inspirations on the project, while the track 'See Me Now' -- featuring less surprising co-conspirator in Beyonce -- is available to stream on his website.
