Fats Domino and Dave Bartholomew to be Honored by Rock Hall

"I am deeply appreciative and grateful to receive this prestigious honor," Domino told Cleveland radio station WTAM 1100. "It is humbling to be acknowledged among such an elite group of artists."
Hosted by the Museum and Case Western Reserve, "Walking to New Orleans: the Music of Fats Domino and Dave Bartholomew" will take place starting Nov. 8. The week-long series will include lectures, interviews, films and other programs.
It will end on Nov. 13 with a conference at Case Western Reserve University and tribute show at the Palace Theater that will feature honoree Bartholomew, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Lloyd Price, Dr. John and the Lower 9-11, Irma Thomas, the Rebirth Brass Band, Robert Parker and more to be announced in the upcoming weeks.
