The singer said although he understood that "apparently everybody loves" the show, unlike Britney Spears and Madonna, he'd said no.
Followill also said the band turned down a chance to appear in a cameo on 'Ugly Betty.'
Talking to NME, Followill also said the band had turned down the chance to soundtrack major Hollywood movies too.
He said, "We had some people call us up wanting to know if we'd allow 'Use Somebody' to appear in the trailer for their next movie, and we turned them down.
"Next day, they called back and tried to put us through to the star of the movie -- I won't name names, but he's an incredibly famous actor -- to let him try to convince us to agree to do it.
"I was like, 'Man, don't even waste your energy.'"
Followill also confessed he was "ashamed" of the comments that he previously made, labelling their hit single 'Sex on Fire' a "piece of s----."
He said, "For a while there, I turned into someone I wasn't proud of. I wasn't appreciative of the admiration we were getting, and I said some things that I'm ashamed of.
"I hurt people who were genuine fans of the band because I was embarrassed to look out from the stage every night and see people who weren't like me."
And finally, the band has rescheduled the gig it scrapped after getting repeatedly pooed on by pigeons midway through.
The band quit the stage at its July 23 St Louis show after Jared Followill was covered in fecal matter from the feathered fiends, saying it was a "toxic health hazard."
The rockers will return to the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater on Sept. 25.

Good for them, they need to steer away from the lows some of these bands will go to just to have their music played in the mainstream. These good ol' boys need to go back to their roots of in-your-face southern rock.
