Phish Fan Jumps From Balcony, Suffers Head Trauma at New York Show

In speaking with the Post, an eyewitness described the scene as having "blood everywhere," with the force of his fall breaking the back of a chair. A doctor on the scene also described his face as being "busted up." The New York Daily News also is reporting that the jumping fan suffered "massive head trauma."
At present time, there's no update on his condition or what his intentions were. The band's next scheduled appearance is set for Oct. 8, when they headline the first night of Austin City Limits Festival.
