Boasting 12 new tracks, including the lead single 'Lucky Man,' plus titles like 'Sweetness,' 'Spoonful' and 'Fancy Pants,' the recently sober Stones guitarist also recruited country star Kris Kristofferson, ZZ Top guitarist Billy Gibbons, Wood's Faces bandmate Ian McLagan and soul legend Bobby Womack. The follow-up to Wood's last album, 2001's 'Not for Beginners,' was crafted in part with producer Bob Rock (Metallica).
The project, which will be released through Eagle Records, can be previewed on the guitarist's official website. Speaking of his alignment with the label, Wood said in a statement, "Eagle understood exactly what I needed for my album and they will give it the push that it deserves, both in the UK and internationally."
