When Kanye West recently announced that he was revving up his Twitter account, many fans braced for the predictable -- angry tirades, written in all caps, running much longer than 160 characters, with multiple tweets in a row. But, rather than mimic Courtney Love, West used his soap box for a much better purpose: to praise the the neo-soul stylings of Mayer Hawthorne. "That Mayer Hawthorne album brings me back to that golden time in music," he wrote. Good. Us, too.
