The concert will take place on July 1, 2011 at London's Alexandra Palace. Fans willing to pay the £40 for a ticket will get an extra treat, as support comes from both Dinosaur Jr playing their 1998 LP 'Bug' in full, as well as Deerhoof playing their acclaimed 2004 album 'Milk Man.'
ATP announced the show in a statement that said of 'The Soft Bulletin.' "On the album's release in 1999 it was hailed by critics as 'the 'Pet Sounds' of the 90s', receiving adulation from fans and writers alike, topping many year end charts and spawning two classic singles ('Waiting For A Superman', 'Race For The Prize') and going on to influence countless bands."
The album was named as the third best of the 90s by Pitchfork in 2003 and is one of the most critically respected albums of the last 20 years, yet on its release in 1999 it never cracked the Billboard 200.
The Flaming Lips are currently fresh from an appearance at the Green Man Festival, while the band see out the summer with an appearance at Bestival on Sept. 11.
Tickets for the Don't Look Back shows are on sale from Friday, Sept. 3.
