"This is an example of the Disco Biscuits just having fun and, artistically, doing something we've never done before," bassist Marc Brownstein (pictured) tells Spinner. "Film is just a natural extension of music, and our job has always been 30% acting -- playing the part of the characters in our songs as we sing them."
Fair enough. The Disco Biscuits are currently on tour through the end of October, including stops at several fall festivals (Nocturnal Festival, North Coast Music Festival and Moogfest 2010). The band will open for String Cheese Incident at the infamous Hampton Coliseum (Hampton, Va.) on October 29 before concluding their tour on Halloween at the Charlottesville Pavilion in Virginia. Regardless of if you're a "noob" or a "jaded vet," you won't want to miss this video. Check it out below, and remember: the key word here is "lasers!"
