Priced at £195 ($300), up £10 ($15) on this year's event, tickets for Glastonbury 2011 will go on sale on Sunday, Oct. 3 at 9AM, BBC Radio 1's Newsbeat reports.
As has been the case in recent years, fans will have to register before buying a ticket -- although anyone who has registered in the past shouldn't have to do it again. Fans will have to pay a £50 ($76) deposit for the event, which opens on Wednesday June 22 and runs until Sunday 26 June.
In the UK fans will have until the first week in April to pay the remainder, while those buying from overseas have until the last week in February. Those who decide not to pay the balance will see their deposit returned minus a £10 ($15) administration fee.
As reported by Spinner, organiser Michael Eavis won't be drawn on who the 2011 headliners will be. Madonna and U2 have been rumoured as possible candidates but Eavis would only admit he's lined up "three really good headliners."
