The exhibition, curated by Kasper Monrad will feature 40 acrylic paintings specifically created for the Danish show which opens on Friday, Sept. 3, and runs until the end of January.
Entitled 'The Brazil Series', the works encompass some of the many sides of Brazilian life including figurative scenes from the country's slums, farms and beaches, the BBC reports.
The 69-year old journeyed to Brazil to sketch the scenes before returning home to the studio where he set about transferring his ideas onto canvas. In a statement Dylan explained why he chose the South American country as the focus for the series. He said, "I chose Brazil as a subject, because I have been there many times and I like the atmosphere."
Exhibition curator Monrad added, "This is a different kind of imagery. The paintings and the music are two different worlds."
