Then it was Iggy's turn. Using benchmark 1973 album 'Raw Power' as a jumping-off point, Iggy & the Stooges blew the roof off the Starlight Ballroom with a hit-heavy set of surging, sweaty intensity, before surrendering the stage to reunited doom metal trio Sleep (pictured above), whose return to 'Sleep's Holy Mountain' tested the limits of human hearing.
If day one was any indication, ATP festival-goers are sure leave on Monday morning a little battered, little bruised, and totally blissed out.
