Band of Horses Perform at Fans' Wedding in Norway

Ben Bridwell and his bandmates performed for the happy couple, known only as Njal and Elin, and their guests. A YouTube video of the event uncovered by So Much Silence depicts the officiating minister, best man and maid of honor looking on in awe.
According to the text accompanying the clip, "Njal proposed to Elin at the Band of Horses show in Oslo earlier this year. When the Bride and Groom heard that BoH was to play a festival in Tromso on the same day of their wedding, they contacted the band and told them their story. With all the coincidences surrounding the wedding, the band said, 'What the hell' and decided to surprise the couple."

I pick up an iTunes card at Starbucks listing the Band of Horses. I had absolutely no idea what type of music this group played, but was quite impressed when listening for the first time. I must have played the music over again for about eight times. Obviously, my like for the group flourished as evident by my seeing the Band of Horses being shown and mentioned when going to my AOL email account. After listening to another wonderful song and reading the story of the wonderful wedding couple and their surprise, I am confident that the Band of Horses will go on to be a huge favorite of some many other fans and new admirers. I wish them the very best and look forward to hearing many of their other songs and music. Thanks for taking time out to bless the newly wed. That charitable moment was indeed simply "Awesome!"
