Dave Matthews Band Announce November Arena Tour

Although the Dave Matthews Band are taking a well-publicized break in 2011, the group will maintain an active schedule throughout this fall. On Wednesday, the group announced a 12-date East Coast arena run, which will get underway in Buffalo on Nov. 2 and wrap with a pair of shows at the John Paul Jones Arena in the band's hometown of Charlottesville, Va.

Support acts will vary during the tour with Amos Lee, the Punch Brothers, John Butler Trio and Trombone Shorty. Ticketing Requests through Warehouse, the band's official fan association, will begin Thursday, Sept. 9, at 6PM ET and run through Monday Sept. 20. Tickets will go on sale for general public on Friday, Sept. 24.

The band's homecoming gigs will benefit two local Charlottesville non-profit organizations via VIP packages. The Nov. 19 show will benefit the city's Local Food Hub, while the Nov. 20 gig will aid the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Blue Ridge.
