In Their Words: Since we started this band, I've wanted to write a song like this. We have had this song for a while but we couldn't quite make it perfect -- we toyed around with different arrangements, styles, etc. and this song almost didn't make the record. At one point it was a straightforward rock song with driving distorted guitars. Once we got in the studio, we gave it one more shot and experimented with a Motown beat and minimal guitars -- that was finally what this song needed. We recorded it and had our good friends, Mae Whitman and Alia Shawkat of the television series 'Arrested Development,' come in and sing girl group-style back-ups on it. They really solidified this song as the lead track off of 'Real Ghosts Caught On Tape.' On top of all of that, it's a super-fun song to play live, and we're already getting a great response from our fans with it.
