George Michael Sentenced to Prison for Drug, Driving Offenses

The charges stem from a July incident in which the 47-year-old singer drove his car into a London storefront in the early morning hours after the city's annual gay pride parade. After admitting that he had smoked cannabis before getting behind the wheel, Michael was arrested and, on top of his prison term, will be banned from driving for six months and have to pay a $1,725 fine.
As WENN reports, judge John Firkin told Michael that his decision to get behind the wheel while stoned was "dangerous and unpredictable, even more dangerous for you given your record." Firkin was referring to Michael's previous vehicular incidents, which include a car accident in 2009 and a 2006 arrest after police found him slumped over the wheel of his car in the middle of the road.
On top of his infamous Los Angeles bathroom arrest in 1998, Michael has been nabbed for possessing drugs several times. In 2009, he admitted to the Guardian that he smokes seven to eight spliffs a day on average, down from 25 in his younger years. Maybe his time in prison will finally teach him to pass on grass.

You are the idiot here, Pot is not near as bad as booze. Better look up your facts before you open your mouth. I do not smoke it anymore but back when I did, I could smoke a s**tload and it never impaired my driving and I never once had an accident. I think it more goes along the line of each persons metabolism more then content.

If ole George drove his car into the front of a store because of smoking freakin weed. Then he doesnt need to be driving at all. The only way I see that happening is if it was laced with something more powerful....FFS

I am not the person I used to be when I was younger but I do have a beef when it comes to messing with the natural herb besides putting (Gorge Michaels in Jail)
But back in my day we just worried about a 3 or 4 finger lid and pot could be a natural pain killer it hemp makes clothes it does so much medically. Why cant people leave natural things alone? Now they have gremamated the seed so its natural anymore its now the chronic. They did the samething with Cocaine it was natural the people chewed on the leaves to get work done
then we took it and made Cocaine then the made crack now a lot of people are in big trouble. These kides today have such stronger drugs to worry about. I dont know what I am trying to say I just did not have all these gangs and so much to worry about when I was a kid.
The pot is so much stronger now days. Oh well God Bless everyone has to find their own way even George!!
