Paul McCartney's Son James Releasing Solo EP

Having Paul McCartney for a father can be really hard to live up to, but James McCartney has decided take the leap and release his first EP, 'Available Light,' according to Clash Music.

With his dad producing the record, McCartney took his time on the album and worked on new material last year in the US and Abbey Road studios. The EP includes four original songs -- 'Angel,' 'My Friend, 'Denial' and 'Glisten' -- and a cover of Neil Young's 'Old Man.'

As Spinner previously reported, McCartney played a one-off London gig in March where he dedicated a song to his father, the affectionately titled, 'I Love You, Dad.' 'Available Light' releases on Sept. 21.
