Meligrove Band, 'Racing to Shimmering Lights' -- Video Premiere

The appropriately-titled 'Racing to Shimmering Lights' demonstrates just the kind of racing, shimmering music that Toronto-based Meligrove Band is quickly becoming known for. It makes sense, then, that they'd want to create a video that's equally as colorful and kinetic.

"[Director] Mike Perdue has been a friend of the band for quite some time, which is why when it came to start developing videos for our new album, it made perfect sense to work on a video together," drummer Darcy Rego tells Spinner. "Working on limited time and budget, we are extremely happy with the video. It was shot in real time -- we are that fast and hyperactive."
