Prior to Hendrix's arrival, German biker gangs fought in the audience. Meanwhile, delays caused by torrential rains frustrated concertgoers, who booed Hendrix as he appeared onstage. After this, his final headlining show, Hendrix would perform just once more -- joining Eric Burdon and War at a London jazz club.
