Crystal Fighters, 'Follow' -- Video Premiere

When it came to the making of the video for Crystal Fighters' new single, 'Follow', they challenged themselves to find a balance between the more "out there" style of their previous promo, 'In the Summer,' while reigning in some of the stop-motion chaos.

The band tells Spinner, "The director for 'Follow,' the wonderful Ian Pons Jewell, approached us with a test version of the flickering technique featured in the video. We thought it was really interesting effect and would work well with the stuttery rhythmical nature of the song.

Our favourite character is of course the charged-up muscle man on the chorus (all natural he'll have you know) who is a minor celebrity in his own right, often typecast for roles such as an evil Scandinavian dictator, gold robot superhero, or in this case, a Venice Beach adrenaline junkie. Other notable cameos include us boys in a rather fetching human hair jacket and the lovely Mimi Bikini, the voice and soul of 'I Love London,' (a previous single) as head of the witch choir."
