Elbow Announce UK Arena Tour for March 2011

Elbow will be hitting the road in March of next year for what will be their biggest series of gigs to date. The Manchester five-piece will be moving up the venue ladder to arenas for the UK jaunt in support of the follow-up to 2008's 'The Seldom Seen Kid.'

As previously reported by Spinner, the band is currently working on the album, tentatively entitled 'Lippy Kids.'

The tour kicks off in Glasgow on March 15 and features a home-town gig at Manchester's MEN Arena on the March 25 before winding up at London's O2 Arena three nights later.

According to singer Guy Garvey, the tour is set to be something a bit special. He told the NME, "There will be some theatre involved. There are a few very special guests on the record, and hopefully they'll be coming out with us live as well."
