Jessie Baylin, 'Hurry, Hurry' -- Song Premiere

Big Hassle
"'Hurry Hurry' was the first song we finished, and it really set the tone for the rest of the sessions," Baylin tells Spinner. "It became the inspiration for the album -- the song arrangement, the orchestral arrangement. We felt a mood was created. We felt we really hit on something special. 'Hurry Hurry' became the benchmark to hit for all the other songs. They had to be this good or we'd go back to the drawing board."
If that's the case, it's going to be quite an album. Produced by Kevin Augunas, who worked magic for Cold War Kids and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, the disc is set to drop later this year. In the meantime, check out this irresistible track. You may find yourself swooning as much as Followill. Almost.

A lot different than Jessie's last album. But as with all great artist Jessie has evolved and grown. Looking forward to the new album.

Then again, Firesight is amazing so it would be hard to top. I hope the rest of the album is closer to her old stuff than this, although I will buy it no matter what.

The first time I herd the song I didnt like it cause I was expecting something totally different, something in the lines of Leave your mark, see how I run, or was I on your mind. I totally love those songs so I was caught off guard. Now I cant stop listening to this new song and its constantly on replay in my head. It has grown on me and it is a great tune!!

been on this site! This page has been up since then too so that I can
play it over and over! I'm so excited for your new album! You have
such an interesting, beautiful voice and aura about you!!! Much love!!
ps if this is elevator music i'm stuck in all the wrong elevators. her music reflects her own style: she's a perfect mix of vintage and hip - old and new. can't wait to hear the rest....
