Regina Spektor to Play Benefit Show for Deceased Cellist Daniel Cho

Two months after the tragic death of cellist and arranger Daniel Cho, friends including Regina Spektor, Jenny Owen Youngs and his old rock band, Cooper, are coming together to play a tribute show for the late musician.The show, which will take place on Monday, Sept. 27 at Brooklyn's Music Hall of Williamsburg, will honor Cho's legacy and raise money to help out his family.
Cho drowned in Lake Geneva, Switzerland, on July 6, a day before he was to play with Spektor at the Montreux Jazz Festival. In addition to hiw work with Spektor, he also arranged and played with Katy Perry, John Mayer, Mandy Moore, Rachael Yamagata and Coldplay. He was also a correspondent for ESPN Soccernet, where he covered South Korea's national team.
