On Oct. 12, the band will release their first EP, which features the track 'Darkness.' It's a song that "is basically a protest against our addiction to 'Black Gold,' which would be oil," Morris tells Spinner. "We've been trained to drive two blocks to purchase groceries and then sit at home eating unhealthy food while watching TV that fills our heads with garbage. We are the creators of this situation for not doing anything to break this habit and for letting it go on for as long as it has. Get up and walk! Get up and do something! Don't be a slave!"
Before you go for that walk, you may just want to check out this video, which features a live performance of 'Darkness' in the same warehouse where Off! played their show. Directed by Vice Records' Jake Burghart, the clip gives you a glimpse of what Off! is like in the live setting -- that is to say, ferocious. You can catch the madness firsthand on Oct. 13 when the band plays a free in-store at Amoeba Hollywood. They will also stage another show in Hollywood that very same evening, at Club Lingerie, "with a very special guest." But if the anticipation is killing you, relax and check out the 'Darkness' video below.
