In Their Words: "I worked pretty intensely on the sonic space that 'She's Made of Clay' lives in. I tried to make the various sounds distinct but also cohesive. The foundation of the track is built on a pretty hollow sounding beat; perhaps reminiscent of something you would hear on an old 'Stones Throw' release. As the track gets underway, the guitar parts by Matt Leer and David Daniell impose themselves, and it switches your assumptions about what the track might be. As the fog of synths roll in, it starts to feel much cloudier and dreamier but also a little menacing as well.
