Die Antwoord Discuss Dog-Influenced Track -- Exclusive Video

In an alternate YouTube-less universe, Die Antwoord's music may have never reached ears outside of their native South Africa. Thanks to word-of-mouth on the web, the hip-hop trio's unique style and rave-rap sound caused a huge buzz overseas and eventually landed the group a major label deal with Interscope Records. With their bizarre haircuts, over-the-top lyrics and general provocation, you could be excused for questioning whether the whole thing is some sort of performance art project.

In an exclusive interview clip, vocalists Ninja and Yo-Landi Vi$$er discuss the inspiration behind 'Enter the Ninja,' the first single off their soon-to-be released debut album '$0$.' "We were staying as usual at someone else's f---in' house on the couch, and the f---in dog was mental. If it heard a thunder striking ... the dog was f---ing going crazy and running up the f---ing walls," Ninja recalls. "Ready to put it down, the poor thing. But I was relating quite heavily to the dog while I was writing the raps."
