Karen O Goes Country for 'Jackass 3D' Soundtrack

Onstage, Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman Karen O is known for donning plenty of interesting headwear, ranging from gas masks to giant feather crowns. If her latest solo offering is any indication, a cowboy hat may be the next accessory in her eclectic repertoire.

As Some Kind of Awesome reports (via TwentyFourBit), O takes a break from her usual art rock with a country cover of Roger Alan Wade's 'If You're Gonna Be Dumb, You Gotta Be Tough,' which will appear on the soundtrack to 'Jackass 3D.' The movie is produced by her former flame Spike Jonze, who also tapped her to pen the soundtrack to 'Where The Wild Things Are.'

The original version by Wade appeared on the soundtrack to the first 'Jackass' movie, with the Smut Peddlers covering it for the 'Number Two' sequel. The soundtrack also includes Weezer's new single 'Memories,' which features the 'Jackass' crew on both the song and in its music video.
