Gayngs Cancel ACL Set After Gear Stolen in Austin

Austin City Limits' Sunday lineup suffered a causality when Bon Iver's Gayngs project had their gear stolen on Saturday night. Filling in for them is Austin-based dub artist Lance Herbstrong.

From a statement issued by the band, their gear and personal belongings were parked outside of Emo's in downtown Austin and were supposed to be driven over to Zilker Park. But something happened en route, and at 4:20AM, the band called in their property as stolen.

"After a sleepless, worry-full night, the band made every attempt to borrow and backline equipment so the show could go on, however, we regret to announce that we will not be able to perform without the necessary equipment that was taken by the bus," Gayngs said. "We are insanely bummed out by these events."

Gayngs have lately been on tour in support of their debut album 'Relayted.'
