Some of his opposition, it seems, stems from the fact that the 'Glee' cast recently surpassed the Beatles for most appearances on the Billboard Hot 100 chart by a non-solo act. An impressive feat which Albarn, nonetheless, finds regrettable. "Those songs won't last like the Beatles, by any stretch of their imagination," he told the Associated Press. "They'll be forgotten in a few year's time."
So, in summation: 'Glee' hasn't asked Albarn to let his music appear on the show; but if they did, he wouldn't. Glad we have that cleared up, then. If it's any consolation to the cast, Beatles bassist Paul McCartney has asked the show's creators if they would consider using some of his material. As far as we know, they haven't asked him yet... but if they did, he'd say yes.

Whatever! What's the Beatles' or music charts or their standing have to do with anything? It's a tv show for Christ sake!
Sounds like a little jealousy and a big head. I am really turned off Gorillaz because of this. Too bad, I really liked them.
