Gossip Party on the Road in New 'Men in Love' Video

Anyone who has been to a Gossip concert knows Beth Ditto and crew can throw one hell of a party. Now, the band's new video for 'Men in Love' proves you don't need a big club to make your booty bounce -- a party bus works just as well, if not better.

"Cody Critcheloe directed it. He's a fellow Southerner and we have the same exact birthday," Ditto tells Spinner of the video. "He's amazing actually. He's in a great band named Ssion. [The video] was all pretty much his baby and it's actually my favorite music video we've made."

So, if this was Ditto's favorite video, what did she enjoy about it the most? "My favorite part was probably hanging out with all of those people that were there -- so many of them were our friends," she adds. "Meeting Peggy Noland was a pretty big deal for me. She styled the video. Also, just the idea that you could buy a bus and destroy it blew my mind. They showed up and they were like, 'Oh, yeah, we bought this bus!' Everything about it was really fun."

Of course, sometimes parties, particularly ones on moving vehicles, can turn ugly. Along with spilled drinks, a passenger gets sick and someone may or may not have wet themselves. "I'm not really sure that happened," Ditto says. "I wouldn't doubt it but I don't know when there would've been time for that to happen. I'm sure it probably wasn't a real golden shower. At least, I hope so."
