Phish Perform New Songs, Cover TV on the Radio in Colorado

Over the first two shows of their three-night run at the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colo., Phish debuted two new songs, 'My Problem Right There' and 'What Things Seem.' And for good measure, they also threw in a cover of TV on the Radio's 'Golden Age.'

It's presumed that the new songs will be featured on the follow-up to the band's 11th studio album, 'Joy,' which was released in 2009. An e-mail from Phish's management confirmed that 'My Problem Right There' is "a song written by Anastasio and Amanda Green, a country and musical theater songwriter. She has reportedly penned several tracks with Anastasio as of late including 'Burn That Bridge,' which the frontman performed at a May solo gig. The latter track, 'What Things Seem,' was first played by the band's bassist Mike Gordon at a New York CIty solo gig back in September of 2009.
