Off! to Perform Entire '1st EP' on Carson Daly

On Friday night's episode of 'Last Call With Carson Daly,' hardcore throwback Off! will make late-night television history by performing their debut EP in its entirety. Granted, the intense four-song '1st EP' clocks in at just over four minutes but still, no other band has done it.

This is the television debut for the group, which is fronted by Circle Jerks and Black Flag screamer Keith Morris and includes guitarist Dimitri Coats (Burning Brides), bassist Steven McDonald (Redd Kross) and drummer Mario Rubalcaba (Hot Snakes, Rocket From the Crypt). The performance was taped at the group's record release party in the "resurrected" L.A. venue Club Lingerie on Wednesday, so the clip will provide a chance to see the band in their natural element: exploding in front of a pack their amped-up fans.

"In my professional career, I've never had any of these opportunities and I am at a point in my life where I'm going to roll with all of the opportunities that come my way," Morris tells Spinner. "The show presents us with the fabulous showbiz chance to not have to clean up after the elephants at the circus and we're very appreciative. It's cool that fans get the opportunity to see us perform live because we've only played something like eight shows. Welcome to the dark party and we hope that you have as much of a blast as we are."

Off!'s debut EP is out now on 7" vinyl and fans can see the band on Oct. 21 in New York as part of CMJ and Nov. 7 at Austin's Fun Fun Fun Fest.
