In Their Words: 'My Heart is a Drummer' was the last song we recorded for the album. I finished writing it the night before we recorded it. In the studio we'd been watching a lot of Paul Simon 'Graceland'-era videos on YouTube -- I don't know why. It's kind of the sunny music of nostalgia for us, which was a sound we were trying to create with our album. The song ended up being a sort of tribute to that kind of music for us, even if that's not apparent. Also, it's sort of a song about drummers and how cool they are." -- Singer/ukelele player Elizabeth Morris
