According to Contactmusic, the 63-year-old said of the night in question, "I left at 7.30 in the morning and I thought, 'I've never stayed up until 7.30 before but I feel really good!' Years later I learned they had put cocaine in my food."
The unorthodox choice of condiment was made by Three Dog Night singer Danny Hutton, who said, "I might have forgot to tell him. Well, it certainly didn't hurt him. He went on to be quite successful."
Another high -- this time a legal one -- that Sir Elton experienced was hanging out with the likes of Bob Dylan and Brian Wilson. The knight-of-the-realm summed it up saying "in two months I met some of the greats of the music world, it was joyous."

Just like the old Dead shows. You never ate or drank anything that you didn't bring unless you wanted to play !!

*Stir lots of sugar into the drink of a diabetic.
*Hide some peanut butter in the lunch of someone who is allergic to peanuts.
*Spike the drink of someone with irregular heart beat with a strong stimulant.
As the old saying goes, "With friends like this, who needs enemies?"
Anyone that "spikes" food or drink (or drug) is NOT a "friend". In the late 60's it took my aunt more than a month to recover from the mental damage (mostly severe paranoia) done by a "FRIEND" putting LSD in her coffee. Just saying...
