As previously reported by Spinner, one disgruntled man Seattle pledged to raise $10m (£6.25m) in October in an effort to pay Weezer to disband and stop making 'crap'.
You would think this might put off the band, or at least make them question their longevity, but in an interview with nola.com frontman Rivers Cuomo has revealed that the band will keep on trucking for another 20 years.
Speaking about running the band indefinitely, he said, "There's a cut-off point, maybe 60. Assuming the audience still wants us to do this, I can see myself doing this for another 20 years or so. Then somebody's got to pull me off the stage."
He added, "It's so hard to leave this relationship once you're in it. Now it's easy for me to say, "I should retire by the time I'm 60." But when I'm 59, I'll be thinking, "No! I don't want this to end!"
As previously reported by Spinner, Weezer are currently delving into their back catalogue, re-issuing their second album 'Pinkerton.'

If I was Rivers I would take the $10 mil and change the band name to Rezeew or Geezer or something else and keep on trucking. Money and music thats the best of both worlds.
