Every show will be split into two sets, and the first half will kick off with a spinning of the wheel, which will be feature random activities for the band to perform outside of their usual music. According to the band's website, the concepts range from performing as their garage-rock alter egos, the Condo F---s, to an impromptu Q&A session with the members. Fans could also see Yo La Tengo, along with their crew, show off their acting chops and perform scenes from an old sitcom.
The other half of the show will be business as usual, with a set of Yo La Tengo classics. Before embarking on this off-the-wall tour, the band will perform at the City Slang festival in Berlin and return to Maxwell's in Hoboken, N.J., for their annual series of Chanukah shows in December.
