William Shatner Covers Cee-Lo's 'F--- You'

Say what you will about William Shatner, but the man sure knows how to make a song his own. In the latest in his string of odd covers, the eccentric actor hit up TBS's 'Lopez Tonight' on Wednesday to put his unmistakable spin on Cee-Lo's smash hit 'F--- You.'

"Well, we're talking about words you can't say," Shatner teased in an interview with Lopez before hitting the stage. "I'm gonna say it. I have a song and I'm just gonna say the word."

Shatner then appeared on stage with a full band in tow to do a comedic, Vegas-oriented lounge version of Cee-Lo's ubiquitous ode to gold diggers. The word in question was bleeped out throughout the performance and most likely sent network censors into overtime, but we have to hand it to the 'S--- My Dad Says' star for breaking out the bizarre cover on national television.

Cee-Lo's track, which is a rare cross-cultural smash hit, isn't going away any time soon. Gwyneth Paltrow confirmed earlier today that she will tackle the song during an upcoming episode of 'Glee.'
