"I will not make him do it because we love him so much that we want him to stay at home," she told Contact Music. "It's really up to him. He has a lot of other things. He's a writer and he's a painter, he does sculpture and he's a dad to our 10-year-old daughter, so I think his life is full. He'll decide when he wants to come back."
Bowie has been on a music hiatus for the last seven years. His last record was 2003's 'Reality,' which was one of the best-reviewed albums that the performer released in his later years. His last public performance was in 2006 at Alicia Keys' annual Black Ball Charity concert.
The Thin White Duke is still restless and prolific at home, though. His current major project is a new book, 'Bowie: Object,' which features photos of more than 100 personal archive objects with specific written insights from Bowie himself.

Iman, as usual, is gorgeous!
Where do you live? 1975?

November 14 2010 at 10:23 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyYes it certainly is nice to hear that he is enjoying his family life and retirement but I find it stange that Iman is speaking for him and saying things like 'I will not make him'. David Bowie has always spoken for himself and his love of music would never be a burdon more likely he would have put that as his priority. I wonder if he is having problems healthwise and being protected by his loving wife. I hope I am wrong but it just seemed a strange article and even the photo reminded me of his 'favourite' (not) song The Laughing Gnome. Sorry but I love that song.
