"He's just someone [that] within himself has a differently kind of boundary set," Lennox tells Spinner. "I find that very inspiring when people know themselves very well and it's not something very conventional. I'm very convinced by Antony. You could look at him and think 'What is this?' and yet when he opens his mouth and starts to sing, it's something that's deeply touching and moving."
Thanks to their distinct voices, it may seem obvious that Lennox and Hegarty would pair well together, and they both have distinct histories in the dance scene. Lennox, of course, drew worldwide fame with her '80s pop group the Eurythmics, and Hegarty is known to lend his voice to contemporary dance acts, most notably on the song 'Blind' by Hercules and Love Affair.
"Our voices would be great," she says. "I never plan to do these things. If you are going to collaborate with someone, it usually happens in a spontaneous way. You don't sit down and say 'Oh, who am I going to collaborate with?' I do think it would be a very interesting combination, definitely."
Lennox recently released her first holiday-inspired album, 'A Christmas Cornucopia.'
