Motorhead Fan Beaten to Death After Leeds Concert

The two men that were arrested this weekend following the brutal murder of a Motorhead fan after concert in Leeds, England, have been released on bail today, according to the BBC. The unnamed men, aged 30 and 26, were still being investigated in the killing of 44-year-old Andrew Crawford, who died of head injuries following the metal show at the O2 Academy on Nov. 25.

During the concert, the hair of Crawford's friend hair was set on fire by the two men, UPI reports. The friend left the concert, after which Crawford and his cousin confronted the two men. This led to a fight on Dudley Way behind St. Anne's Cathedral, where Crawford suffered multiple blows and fell to the ground.

Crawford, a divorced father of one who worked as a manager at a local builder supply merchant, was transported to Leeds General Infirmary where he later died. His cousin was not seriously injured and is helping police with the investigation. Although the Motorhead camp hasn't officially commented, it posted news of Crawford's murder on Friday under the heading "Sad Day."

Meanwhile, Homicide Detective Paul Taylor told reporters on Saturday, "I am convinced that members of the public will have vital information. I would urge those people to come forward."
